Burton x Metallica
Metallica’s members have been fans of Burton’s Wheelie luggage for more than 10 years. That resulted in Burton developing customized cases for the band’s “Hard Wired Tour” in 2010. Established in 1981, the band has logged a lot of miles and lead guitarist Kirk Lee Hammett and others are still at it.
Once they joined forces, Burton staffers mined the archives of Pushead’s graphics to create a mix of hard and soft goods, as well as limited-edition luggage. The assortment includes base layers like a T-shirt, as well as jackets, limited-edition snowboards, beanies, backpacks and other accessories.
It was a blast working with the team on the Wheelie Luggage and Packable Sleyton Hip Pack from this collection.

Merrell - Bare Access II
The 2013 Bare Access II by Merrell was developed as a part of their barefoot running collection. A road-running shoe designed to be an entry point for minimalist running, the shoes featured comfortable cusioning, moisture-wicking, fabric, and Vibram outsoles.
Perfect for long miles on trails or hard surfaces, the glove-like synthetic overlay design provided lightweight support, and reflectivity.

NBA - Illustrations & Animations
I have had the opportunity to work on a number of basketball-related projects. Recently, the NBA approached me about creating illustrations to commemorate various accomplishments and events, for distribution across all of their social media accounts. Works included animated celebrations of milestones for Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Isaiah Thomas, as well as additional icon and illustration work as parts of various NBA and Jr. NBA marketing initiatives.
A simplified, 30 team icon set was also developed for a project with NBA Reporter and Senior Staff Writer at The Ringer Kevin O'Connor to help recreate the layouts for his annual NBA Draft Guide. You can download the icon set, or phone wallpapers, for free in the shop.

Burton x Matt McCormick
Back in 2018, we teamed up with painter and illustrator Matt McCormick for a capsule collection. World-renowned for his artwork, McCormick’s creation pays homage to the Grateful Dead using themes of the renegade west.
The collection included a snowboard, chore coat, and duffel bag, adorned with his signature style illustrations, and celebrating the legendary psychadelic rock group.
The duffel was made of a high-end air washed nylon, leather contrasts and touchpoints, seatbelt webbing, and includes a pouch with a series of patches.
Anon Optics - Tracker Goggle
I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Anon Optics Creative Team to come up with a character for their Youth Tracker goggle. The artwork for Freddie the Yeti came together pretty quickly after that, with a goggle for the 2015 collection.
The piece features a full color jacquard strap design, dye sublimated frame and adjustment buckles.
Vermont Lacrosse - Green Mountain Boys
The Green Mountain Boys lacrosse program, a club team located in the Burlington, Vermont area, needed a refresh on their brand identity. Working alongside coaches, a new logo was developed which tied directly into Vermont's history.
The mark depicts one of the original members of the Green Mountain Boys, a militia organization from the late 1760's, who resisted the British Province of New York's attempts at controlling the land known as The New Hampshire Grants, an area of land between New York and New Hampshire which is now modern-day Vermont.
This heritage was also infused into the team identity through the use of a color palette drawn directly from their regimental flag, which was green, blue, and ornamented with 13 white stars.
